North Carolina’s agricultural roots run deep, a rich history exemplified by its century farms. Many generational farming families still work the same land today, supporting local economies and safeguarding rural landscapes. We were fortunate to recently complete a conservation easement with one such family in Caswell County, permanently protecting nearly 100 acres of cropland, timber and natural springs that they’ve been tending to for nearly 100 years.
